On Saturday, July 11, Sister 2 Sistah treated children receiving services through a local youth support program to an unforgettable day at Shell Energy Stadium as Houston Dynamo FC hosted C.D. Olimpia during Soccer Celebration, presented by Kroger. Thanks to the generosity of community and business leader David Denenburg, the group enjoyed a VIP experience that included suite access, lunch, gift bags and special visits from the Houston Dynamo cheerleaders and team mascot. Sister 2 Sistah also extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Houston Dynamo organization, whose leadership stopped by the suite to personally greet the children and escorted them to the field for an up-close view following the match. The outing created lasting memories and reflected the power of community partnerships to inspire, encourage and remind every child that they are valued and supported.

Sister 2 Sistah hosted its Guiding Black Males to Greatness Barbershop Series (Part I) on May 16, 2026, at Goode Looks Barbershop on Scott Street. Designed for high school and college-aged young men, the event featured mentorship on scholarship opportunities, conflict de-escalation, professional etiquette—including how to tie a necktie—and preparing for future success. The program was sponsored by Houston City Councilmember Carolyn Evans-Shabazz and SuitMart.

On March 21, 2026, Sister 2 Sistah awarded $10,000 in scholarships during its Annual Dinner Party at Davis Street at Hermann Park. Guests enjoyed an exceptional dining experience prepared by renowned Chef Mark Holley while celebrating the academic achievements of deserving students. The scholarships were made possible through the generous support of H-E-B. Sister 2 Sistah also extended its impact by funding summer camp and swimming lessons for elementary school children, reinforcing the organization's commitment to creating opportunities for youth at every stage of their educational journey.

On Aug. 17, 2025, Sister 2 Sistah welcomed scholarship recipients and their families to its Annual Scholarship Brunch at Davis Street at Hermann Park. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable brunch prepared by renowned Chef Mark Holley while celebrating the hard work, determination and bright futures of deserving students. The scholarships were made possible through the generous support of H-E-B, whose continued partnership allows Sister 2 Sistah to invest in the next generation of leaders. Although the gathering was more intimate than previous years, the organization's mission remained the same — providing young people with a hand up as they pursue their dreams.

Sister 2 Sistah, in partnership with Houston City Council District D and the City of Houston Department of Neighborhoods, hosted its Summer Bridge 2025 workshop at YES Prep Southside Secondary. The event, themed “Building Intergenerational Help for a Stronger Houston,” brought together civic leaders, successful entrepreneurs, and enthusiastic youth for a day of inspiration, empowerment, and action.

On April 28, 2024, Sister 2 Sistah awarded scholarships to eight outstanding students during its Annual Dinner Party at Davis Street at Hermann Park. Guests enjoyed Chef Mark Holley's signature fried chicken dinner while celebrating students from Kashmere, Willowridge, Sam Rayburn and Klein Cain high schools as they prepared to begin the next chapter of their academic journeys. Each recipient received a $2,000 scholarship made possible through the generous support of H-E-B. Union Pacific also funded $1,000 educational grants for additional students, extending the organization's investment in future success. The evening became an emotional celebration as students and their families shared heartfelt stories, with many moved to tears while reflecting on the opportunities these scholarships made possible.

On April 30, 2023, Sister 2 Sistah honored the Willowridge High School Lady Eagles during a special celebration at Davis Street at Hermann Park on Almeda. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable meal prepared by renowned Chef Mark Holley as the team was recognized for its remarkable turnaround season, academic achievement and leadership on and off the court. Sister 2 Sistah presented the Lady Eagles with a $2,500 check, made possible through the generous support of H-E-B, to help offset summer AAU expenses. Additional community partners included Comerica Bank, which provided financial literacy education, and Denny's, which donated swag and meal coupons to support the athletes throughout their summer travels.
