On April 18, 2015, Sister 2 Sistah, with the support of numerous community partners and sponsors, hosted an intimate dinner honoring 11 outstanding young women from Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M University. Held at Center Stage Events Art Gallery in Sugar Land, the evening connected the students with accomplished professional women who shared their personal and career journeys. Rebecca Briscoe assembled the panel of mentors, while Nakia Cooper led the vision and mission of the event, creating an evening centered on encouragement, leadership and empowering the next generation of women.
